Why Redeeming Time or Prioritization Is the Key
A New Year is the passing of the old year and an opportunity to redefine your priorities, redefine your life vision, re-establish worthwhile goals and an opportunity to bury the past and move onto the future.
Psalms 39:4 Gives a scripture for how to maximize your Time:
4 Lord make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is; that I may know how frail I am.
Ps 90:12 So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom
Ecclesiastes 8:6 For there is the proper time and procedure for every matter
Time is the currency of life.Just like financial currency, time must be spent—you can’t save it, pause it, or store it away. Every moment is a transaction. You are either investing it wisely or wasting it carelessly.
In the Kingdom, time becomes more than minutes on a clock; it becomes a spiritual asset. Scripture calls this redeeming the time—buying back purpose, aligning your life with God’s design, and using each moment to draw closer to your identity, your calling, and your destiny.
When you spend time on the things of God, you’re not just “using up” life—you’re gaining it back, restoring what was lost, and maximizing the life He gave to the fullest potential. Let this new year be a year of redeeming the time with continuous progress, consistent efforts towards achieving our objectives and without any delays. Thy Kingdom Management Cometh. In Jesus Name Amen!
