True Story:
This phone conversation that just happened...
Ann's brother is on life support and she has to make the decision.
She is feeling more than just a little bit overwhelmed.
After the call...
I reflected on my own life problems that feel so overwhelming sometimes but overwhelming compared to what?? Not to Ann's right now.
We compare our problems to others, and it somehow gives us relief or the sense that we deserve more sympathy than they do. This happens almost automatically. But it doesn't help anyone.
What if what we call problems aren't even real? What if they are just reflections of energy that is out of alignment at the present time or in the moments leading up to it?
I invite you to join me in this experiment:
No matter what happens, don't label it a problem.
Don't label it as good or bad.
Instead, just "Maybe good. Maybe bad. Who's to know"
And then ask...
"I wonder what this current experience is attempting to unfold?
What doorway or opportunity is being shown that was before unknown?"
Asking this has changed everything for me this month.
For the better!
I'm curious how it feels for you...
