It’s better to write every day than to expect a hit every time you write.

Let me tell you something most worship leaders never hear:

Your breakthrough song isn’t going to come from waiting for inspiration to strike.

It’s going to come from showing up consistently—even when you don’t feel like it.

Here’s the truth about hit songs:

You don’t know which one it’s going to be.

I’ve written 200+ songs over 19 years. Some of the songs I thought were “okay” ended up being the ones that connected with thousands of people. Some of the songs I was CONVINCED were hits? Nobody remembers them.

Write. Every. Day.
