Please see view points below: You don't need A licence for arbitrage, however I would highly recommend getting one for a few reasons: See below: 1. With a licence, you can manage homes and get used to this industry before risking a lot of your own money. I would highly recommend this as margins are very small in certain areas unless you rent luxury homes 2. Australia is strict on the short term rental laws, and in the next 12-24 months they will probably crack down on unprofessional hosts, like they are already across NSW, QLD and VIC.
