but how much time did it take?

the star you see when you look up that’s your reflection.

Time
yes it is of the essence
yet it takes time
father god is cooking within us with sazon adobe

life and death in the tongue
the word the breathes life into us
gods words
gods love
gods light
a lamp onto our feet: he is
a light onto our path: he is
a life builder: he is
a star soarer on eagle wings: he is
we see the trials
we see the tribulations
we see the turbulence
yet through him we move forward
not rushing past our healing: nope
Not rushing past our deliverance: nope
not rushing past our GOD: nope
He Crushes us, and…
builds us up, and…
Makes us anew, how?

die to flesh, live in the spirit
tall as the freedom towers
