Why sell on Poshmark when they have such a high % fee
I honestly don't mind the 20% fee. I will price on the high end of selling cost from eBay, they hit like and automatically get a 15% offer. They send me a counter offer. If it's reasonable I accept.
With Poshmark all items ship USPS Priority unless the category does not allow Priority, such as a cell phone, radio, etc. They accept up to 16 photos and 1 video. Which is plenty for clothing and shoes, and most other items.
Because everything ships USPS Priority I don't need to purchase more packaging. I order the supplies on USPS.com, for free, and get what I need delivered to my shop.
Ultimately, it's a decision you need to make for yourself. Get the details. Do a comparison of what your earnings would be if the $30 item sold on eBay versus Poshmark. You may be surprised at the Gross Profit.
