📢 Feeling incredibly blessed and grateful to share my 2024 reselling journey with you all! 🙏
In mid 2024 my family and I took the biggest leap of faith of our lives 😬
In August of 2023 my wife was diagnosed with CCI (cranial cervical instability) from a whiplash injury that occurred 14 years ago. She suffers from level 10 chronic pain since her 1st C1 vertebrae is not properly aligned.
We then found a procedure that fixes this!
PICL - (Percutaneous Implantation of the CCJ Ligaments)
Come to find out this would mean saving up about $30,000 - $60,000 to get this treated as it is NOT covered by insurance.
We had to make a choice.
Get a part time job, move back home to live with parents, or start expanding our resell business.
We chose live selling on whatnot. This was a GOD idea.
🚀 The numbers that blew my mind:
- Sales jumped from $180K to $270K (66% growth!)
- Started selling on Whatnot in July and did more there in 5 months than eBay + Poshmark combined for the whole year
- Built a nationwide sourcing team of 30+ amazing people
- Net income up 41% year-over-year
But here's the real win that makes my heart full: This growth means we can finally pay for my wife's medical procedure after 13 years of chronic pain. Health truly is wealth, fam! 💕
🤔 Biggest lessons learned:
- Stop procrastinating on those big ideas! I waited too long to start on Whatnot
- Marketing is CRUCIAL in reselling - started doing Facebook ads, TikTok ads, and cold email strategies
- Recognize what season you're in - sometimes it's grinding, sometimes it's scaling
- You're capable of WAY more than you think
- Delegate your weak points and focus on your strengths

🎯 2025 Goals:
- Scaling to 3 Whatnot shows daily (10am, 2pm, 6pm)

💡 Pro tip: Open a Google Doc right now and write down your successes, failures, lessons learned, and plans for 2025. Clarity is power!
To my reselling family: You can do this! Whether you're just starting or scaling up, remember you're more capable than you think. Set those goals HIGH! 🎯
By the end of 2024 we were able to save up and schedule for the first procedure $15,000
She will need at least 2-4 to stabilize the C1 vertebrae.
I say this to you to not boast but to give you hope and encouragement that sometimes in the darkest times of life is when the brightest light is about to shine. Never give up.
