Spotify and Universal Music Group have struck a new deal to let users create content for Spotify — such as song covers or remixes — using artificial intelligence. The companies didn't specify which artists' songs would be available for use, but Spotify co-chief Alex Norström said the feature "is grounded in consent, credit and compensation for the artists and songwriters that take part."
