Today we’re picking up butcher-ready hogs for our customers. These pigs were hand-raised by a local producer who specializes in some of the finest pork you can find. Slow grown, well cared for, and finished the right way — producing the depth of flavor and clean-rendering fat you expect when you’re eating truly local meat.
This is what responsible sourcing looks like: knowing the farmer, knowing the feed, knowing the animal — and making sure it gets where it needs to go.
