Preassure washer

Can you give us some information about using a preassure washer with chemical treatment and preparation. I currently use a retail residential model that is good for washing and removing chemical stripper. I'm looking to upgrade. Is hot water good enough for a low volume shop for chemical preparation or is steam necessary? Do you have any other suggestions or recommendations? Thanks.
