🏛️ What the Poetry Business Institute Is
The Poetry Business Institute (PBI) is a global trade school and learning institution for poets.
It exists because poets are the only creative group without a clear, shared infrastructure for turning their craft into sustainable careers. PBI was built to provide that structure.
Inside the Institute:
- Everyone enters as a Student Poet
- Experience levels vary, posture stays the same
- Growth is recognized quietly
- Leadership is entrusted intentionally
Poetry is the center. However, other creatives may join, because the information is transferable.

The Poetry Business Network (PBN) is the broader global community and marketplace for poets.

📚 About the Institute Path (Briefly)
The Institute supports poets at different levels of readiness.
- Free members are encouraged to observe, learn, and expand their vision of what’s possible.
- Premium members use the Institute to package ideas into clear, sellable offers with structure and guidance.
- VIP members receive support at critical moments when real opportunities and decisions are on the line.
When you’re ready to accelerate, the Institute offers a clear educational path.
Track 1: Foundations
Also known as the Poetry Business Accelerator – Foundations Certificate, Track 1 was intentionally designed to do two things at the same time:
- Teach you how to build a real poetry business, and
- Help you document your process in a meaningful way.'
Every lesson, prompt, and assignment is structured to help you:
- Capture your growth in real time
- Create authentic, value-driven content
- Attract new followers who resonate with your journey
- Gradually transform followers into supporters of your work
You are not asked to “perform.”
You are invited to document honestly.
By the end of Track 1, you don’t just have clarity—you have:
- A clear business foundation
- A growing library of content
- An audience that understands your value
- Increased confidence in how you show up publicly
Track 2 and additional pathways become available over time.
Nothing is required on Day 1.
