Let there be poems!🎭
Now, what's a poetry community without out poems!?! That's like having an empty library, so share a poem and give us a glimpse of your style of art 👀. Poetry doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be you. I do believe you get better with every poem your write, so I'll kick off this poetry party 🎉 . Let's have fun and discuss.😁
'What the pen said to the paper' 📝
"Pssst, hey paper", said the pen, "here we go!
Here goes that crazy, sullen, so-called poet writing again!"
"Ugh, I know", says the paper.
"Here we are.. being forced to bring life to these crestfallen thoughts."
"This guy has GOT to be losing it", The pen leans in as he said.
"At this rate, we'll be used up!' In a frantic spout, the pen bleeds and bends.
Paper replied back, " Relax, just be cool for now."
"I'm sure the day will come when we get to write about brighter days and happy smiles."
"For now...we just have to let the poet be a poet, yes, just for now.."
With a tear in it's corner and a seemingly confident grin.
Or...at least I think that's what i heard them say just then..
