Welcome To Poetry In Practice!
I am delighted to welcome you all into this community where we begin to make poetry approachable, accessible, and a place for practice and play! My hope is that through these exercises, writers will be able to build the skills necessary to create the poetry they would like to bring into the world. Whether you are new to poetry or you've been doing this for years already, there is a place for you here.
These will be 1 hour sessions which you may join writing on whatever is accessible to you. While I highly recommend writing physically with pen/pencil and paper, writing on your laptop or whatever device you choose is up to you.
***The use of AI is not allowed***
Classes will be held on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday Mornings and will officially begin Monday July 20th, 2026
