Allotment & life mixed into one!
Growing, trying to bake a birthday cake, and get a children’s party ready, as well as volunteering in a school and a local allotment community to learn how to put up a greenhouse! It was all go up to the end of 2025 on the plot 13a!
There is still the ever ongoing challenge with bindweed
The plot was quite a bit tidy up when I took it on and I am still in the process early this spring of getting this completely level. Last year was a bit of a wing it method where I just wanted to get some plants in the soil to see how they would get on and also to get to know the space for growing.
It wasn’t perfect, I had just moved home so I may have taken on more than I could chew last year, but we pushed on and this year I am hoping to learn a lot more, try different methods and try to make the most of growing on the plot for 2026 🪴
