Consignment Shop
We have opened up accepting one-off consignments. We usually turn away customers who don’t have the minimum number of items for an online auction. We also have customers who are reluctant to risk any of their items selling for $5 (which we would then not advise them going the online auction route).
I love tinkering with new software - I found one where antique stores/malls use which is actually pretty “neato” (showing my age here!).
I’ll be test marketing this and will aim for it to be a nice addition to finding homes for all of these estates. The store link is also on our website www.picksandtreasures.com.
I haven’t done any announcement other than this post, I’m hoping to take pictures of more items over the weekend.
Items will be under the warehouse location for viewing and outright purchase. WE ARE FLEXIBLE TO OFFERS! Just like how you go to an antique mall, we can definitely negotiate on prices…
I have so many items from 6 customers who took me up on the offer to be my testers with their items on this online shop.
And, of course, I will be tweaking the logistics to whatever works to be more efficient for all.
