"This is NOT how I planned for things to go." š³
Trust me, you're not alone.
I never planned to join the Army at 32.
I never planned to serve 17 years and deploy three times.
I never planned to become a realtor, a life coach, an author, or a speaker.
If you had shown me my life today twenty years ago, I would have thought you were talking about someone else.
But here's what I've learned:
āØ Sometimes the life we planned isn't nearly as good as the life God planned.
That doesn't mean the detours are easy.
Some detours hurt.
Some disappointments leave scars.
Some seasons make absolutely no sense while we're living them.
But often, the very thing we thought was setting us back was actually preparing us for what comes next.
The setback builds resilience.
The heartbreak builds compassion.
The delay builds patience.
The struggle builds strength.
And somehow, God uses it all.
ā¤ļø If your life doesn't look like the plan right now, don't give up.
You may be standing in the middle of a chapter that won't make sense until later.
Keep going.
One day you'll look back and realize the detour wasn't taking you away from your purpose...
