Jan 28 Question
Do you treat yourself with the same patience you give others?
Posting this for you guys to see tomorrow morning, but I think it's a very important one. Comment down your thoughts.
Me personally, I am very patient with others and tend to beat myself up alot more. I want to say it's because I hold myself to a higher standard than my expectations on others. In other words, I don't care how others act, I can only compare myself to my standard. Also I think since it is myself, I don't give myself too much leeway because I could handle that self pressure and turn it into fuel to work in those environments and get the job done.
The reason why I act this way definitely stems from my parents as I would be yelled at for some reason and had such high expectations to be perfect, so I always had an expectation to be to the highest standard. I never enjoyed that (not that I had a choice but I am glad it happened to me), but I don't expect that from other people. Whenever someone else messes up, I would think "Oh its okay, it happens, they'll change" but when it comes to me I think "damn I should've done it or I could've done better."
