What would have been?

May 10, 2003 - We would have been married 23 years today. Crazy how time flies by.

I sometimes wonder, if Pat were with us today, what would life have looked like?

I'll never know.

But I will live with a heart full of grateful for the 15 years we had together - (12 married) and the amazing memories we made.

Love the one you're with.. each day is not promised - trust - time flies - don't miss the blessings of today. Embrace each and every part. The good and the bad. The challenges and the accomplishments.

Take nothing for granted.

Live AND love each day like it's your last.

Because of the love he had for me, I know what love is. He loved me with every part of his being..as I did him. I miss him and his silliness. I know he would be so very proud of the woman I am today.

I'll forever be grateful for the time we had.

This photo was taken in December of 2014 at a Fleetwood Mac concert. I surprised him and bought the tickets for his Birthday...

He went to heaven 5 months later - just 19 days after our 12th wedding anniversary.

Happy 23rd Anniversary Sweetheart... I know you're dancing in the heavens with the mom's! AND I know you are watching over me - my sweet angel.
