For many women over 50, metabolism can start to feel like a mystery.
Things that used to work suddenly don’t.
Sleep changes.
Energy dips.
Weight feels harder to move.
Most people assume this is just “part of getting older.”
But often it’s not age — it’s signals.
Your body is constantly receiving signals that tell it whether to burn energy, store energy, repair tissue, or slow things down.
Sleep sends signals.
Hydration sends signals.
Muscle sends signals.
Stress sends signals.
Movement sends signals.
When those signals are out of balance, the body shifts into protection mode.
When they’re supported correctly, the body begins working the way it was designed to again.
This is something I’ve been studying deeply lately, especially for women navigating this stage of life.
I’ve been working on something that focuses on resetting some of those metabolic signals in a simple way over the course of a week.
