Be The One
I started, for the 4th or 5th time, reading/listening to (JP) Justin Prince's book, Be The One. I give it 10*!
Best book I've ever read. And reading, in the past, was a struggle. Justin says, "If you're not learning, you're not growing!" So, reading has become a part of my journey. Some audible. Some reading. Some both. In this case, I recommend both.
Justin't book has pages for you to write. And, that's another thing. I am writing. Without the use of AI, so, (BIG WIN) this post is raw, real, Christine - getting in touch with her NEW IDENTITY.
I think you'll enjoy it. I know I am.

I wanted to share a bit about the book, and what I am learning.
Justin says, don't just read a book, study it. I am finally committed to doing just that. I am studying "Be The One."
Chapter 4 challenges the reader to "Clarify your 3D Vision".
How many of you have actually sat down and done that?
I can tell you, I have never done that.
In the book, JP asks the question, "What is my vision?" "What do I really want to do with my life?"
To "be the one" you must live and lead your life with vision.
Mine, I am still working on it. 58 years young, and I have never defined my vision. Which, Justin emphasizes, most of us have not yet CLEARLY defined our vision.
I mean, we know what we want, to be financially free, to make a difference in this world..
High performers can state what they want to achieve and why it matters to them, without delay.
Can you do that? Me either....
A clearly defined vision sits on top of your tongue, not in the back of your mind.
Until now, it's sat in the back of my mind.
I finally understand the assignment .....
I am not who I was..
I am who I am meant to be...I am who God created me to be.
I am resilient..an overcomer of challenges. I inspire others to live an intentional life. I am thoughtful of others and meet them where they are.
Part of Justin's book, is to write 3 things you have already accomplished. Things like - receiving my Certified Medical Nail Technician License in 2020 - after CoV shut the world down. Receiving 2 promotions, in 16 months at my job. Started a Nail Business in 2018-2021.
They can be small accomplishments or big ones. The point is, YOU DID SOMETHING! Something to celebrate. Something to brag about. Something to be grateful for.
"They are a reminder that you've done or accomplished hard things." JP
The next part, Step 2:
Write down fifty things you would like to accomplish in the next ten years.
JP says, most people will go their entire lives without thinking about - let alone writing down -what they want to accomplish. I am one of those people.
Until now...
I sent a DM to Justin today, thanking him for this book, his wisdom, inspiration, belief. Asked him if he had any tips on how to "rattle" these accomplishments from the brain. He said that this exercise is challenging for most people. He said, "think outside of you," think about dreams you want for your family, your friends, the world, for your community, or for your church"- easy enough, I already had all of those on my list. He said, "dreams have 2 stages - first, it's created in your mind - then it's created physically. You're not going to achieve some big massive dream, unless it starts in your heart. Then you start believing it - conceiving it and taking action."
I have 23 written down.
At this point in the book. He emphasizes to step away - take your time and only when you've completed the 50 things, should you move to the next step.
I hope this inspires you today.
I want to know what would be on your list of 5?
And on your list of 50?
Take a moment my friends, can you define your vision?
I am sharing a short video from Justin. I hope you feel encouraged and ready to define your vision.
