Yesterday I went shopping. Unfortunately, this time we didn't need much, so the opportunities to find savings weren't very many. We don't buy stuff just because it's a deal. Doing that just leads to waste if it happens to be something we don't use often.
I did manage to save about $10.15 on some cheese croissants and pizza-type buns, though, so it wasn't a total disappointment. I got some half-price goodies to nibble on while I work on Skool😁
That brings me to my point: not every shopping trip is going to be a massive saver. They don't have to be. Sometimes $5 here and $10 there can be just as successful. Every dollar counts, and they add up.
It's something to remember the next time you go shopping, and it seems like the savings aren't there. Sometimes it happens. Don't get discouraged and try not to "deal buy" just because it's a good price. If you don't think you'll use it soon and it might go to waste... leave it on the shelf, rack, or hook unless it's free...
