ReImagine OT
Welcome fellow clinicians, parents, therapy students, and other healthcare professionals. I am the Founder of ReImagine OT, a neurological pediatric therapy center and also Founder of the ReImagine Method for Functional Movement Intervention: An intensive method focusing on a holistic approach that incorporates several evidenced based approaches to maximize functional outcomes during neuro-intensive therapy. The clinic is set-up to encourage play, exploration, promote movement, and engage the child in not only improving their independence with movement and functional motor skills, but also pull in cognitive development for all ages. Our approach is heavy on proper alignment, proper muscle recruitment, and promoting functional movement patterns in the right way, decreasing as much compensation as possible in order to decrease further development of poor movement patterns that will inhibit continued progression with developmental motor skills as well as orthopedic and pain issues as your child ages. Our methodology can be applied to all children with various diagnosis and will be customized for your child's goals. Our clinic is a "think outside of the box" clinic where we pull in all the tools to optimize results.
I created this community in order to educate parents, therapy students, fellow clinicians, and other healthcare professionals as well as provide a place to help assist with questions and help guide you in the right direction with all things rehab, development, controversial products and techniques, and more.....
