Welcome!
This community is designed to be the best space on the internet to learn about knowledge management, from the PARA Method to Zettelkasten and beyond.
Here's what we've added so far...
- The flagship PARAZETTEL Course, containing many video and text resources from the Obsidian vault that I wanted more flexible access to update and improve, the Minimal Note-Taking course talking specifically abou this one element
- Other courses and premium resources - we've got other courses too, about Minimal Note-Taking and also PKM as a student. There are also courses coming as well, and you should always be able to see which one we've got planned next in the Classroom. Right now, it's the 'Use Your Ideas' course.
There are also some assorted bonuses in the Classroom, including past workshop recordings, resource notes from the things that I've consumed, and other bits and pieces that I think you might find useful.
- The upcoming cohort - you can check the other pinned community post for more information about this, but we're going to be doing ~quarterly sprints over the course of a month starting with note-taking theory and fundamentals and then moving on to more seasonal topics. The first one's pre-launching to everyone here at the end of October!
- The community page is also a fantastic place to ask questions and make friends. We're divided into General posts and Cohort-related posts at the moment, so it's easy to pick which channel you want to write something in. We may expand in the future, but for now we're keeping it easy.
On that note, the first thing that I want you to do is head below and let people know who you are. Your name, what you do, what you're working on and how note-taking and knowledge management tie into your life.
I've got an example here and in the section below, so you can see what I mean...
"I'm Theo, a (now-former) student, and online creator and entrepreneur. I've been using PKM to study for a degree, write newsletters and articles, manage a small online business and keep on top of my personal endeavours!"
Now it's your turn - let us know who you are by writing a short reply in the comments below.
If there's someone you see underneath that you'd like to connect with, reply to their comment and start a conversation! Once you're done, move on to the next pinned post.
Cheers,
-- Theo
P.S. I'm always here if you need to ask a private question. Send one on the Skool platform, or reach out at theo@parazettel.com, I welcome it no matter what your query or topic of conversation.
