My name is Joseph Vulpis and I've been an outdoor educator for over 20 years. During my career I have worked as a mountain guide, mountain rescue technician, wilderness survival specialist, wilderness medicine instructor and much more! I'm a subject matter expert (SME) in remote rescue operations, rope rescue and mountain guiding.
I've ran several outdoor education businesses, been involved in the formation of guide training organizations and enjoy providing my experience and formal based knowledge to others. I'm the founder of the American Hiking Guides Association, Bayshore Search & Rescue, National Rescue & Response Institute, Stay Rad Climbing Guides, Mid-Atlantic Mountain Rescue and others.
