I'll start:
I have had an interest as a hobbyist amateur coder for over 25 years, creating websites and simple python scripts from time to time. My previous career was as an analyzer and instrumentation technician with a specialty in electrical, automation, and controls. Prior to that I have been a professional structural steel and ornamental metal fabricator/ welder and grew up into the family HVAC-R business. I've started several businesses, some successful, others not as much and have a wide range of skills that have accumulated through all of those endeavors.
Then the opportunity came up just over a year ago to dive into software development full time, built a game in Python called Sacred Ground which has the C++ Steam API's tied into it and published it on Steam. I also have a world called A-Mazing Battle on the Meta Horizon platform that is written in Typescript, working on an active chess game on that platform as well. Currently building another game/software for a client which we are aiming to publish to Steam around the end of October.
I hope you enjoy this community and please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions you might have.
