Week 1 Challenge: Build Your First "Hello Agent"
Ready to put your skills to the test? Here's your first community challenge!
THE CHALLENGE: Create a simple OpenClaw agent that responds to a user greeting with a personalized message based on the time of day.
Requirements:
- Use OpenClaw's basic agent template
- The agent should detect whether it's morning, afternoon, or evening
- It should respond with an appropriate greeting (e.g., "Good morning! Hope you're ready for a productive day!")
- Bonus: Add the user's name to the greeting
Time limit: Try to complete this within 30 minutes.
How to participate:
- Build your agent following the requirements above
- Share a screenshot or code snippet of your working agent in the comments
- Help others who get stuck - teaching is the best way to learn!
