Moltbot is now OpenClaw 🫣

Heads up, MBA crew 📣🦞 — quick update on the name journey and what it means for us!

We started as Clawd/ClaudeBot 🧠🦞 (a fun “Claude + claw” pun), but after a friendly nudge from Anthropic’s legal team ⚖️ we decided to rename.

Next came Moltbot 🐚✨ — picked in a chaotic community brainstorm (legendary energy 😅). “Molting” = growth, like a lobster shedding its shell to level up 📈🦞… but honestly, it didn’t always roll off the tongue 😄

Now we’re officially landing on: OpenClaw ✅🦞And that means our community space is becoming OpenClaw Academy 🎓🚀

Why OpenClaw? Because it captures what the project is about: open source, community-driven, and an agent platform that runs on your machine 🧰💻 — working from the chat apps you already use (WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, Slack, Teams, etc.) 💬🤖

What’s also new in this release?New channels 📡, new model support 🧠⚡, web chat improvements 🖼️, and lots of security hardening 🔐🛡️
