Jeremiah 29:11
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Today’s Reflection
In the midst of exile and uncertainty, God spoke these words through the prophet Jeremiah to the people of Israel. They were far from home, facing hardship, yet this verse reminds us that God’s intentions are rooted in love and purpose. He doesn’t promise a life without challenges, but He assures us of His sovereign plan, one that leads to hope, prosperity, and a meaningful future. Today, reflect on areas of your life where uncertainty looms. Trust that God’s blueprint for you is good, even when the path isn’t clear. His timing and wisdom surpass our understanding, turning trials into stepping stones for growth.
Today’s action step
Take a moment to journal one current worry or dream. Surrender it to God, asking Him to reveal how it fits into His plans. Throughout the day, remind yourself: “God’s got this.” Share this verse with someone who needs encouragement, and watch how hope spreads.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for the plans You have for me, plans filled with hope and not harm. Help me to trust Your timing and wisdom, even in uncertainty. Give me strength to walk in faith today, knowing my future is secure in You. Amen.
