๐Ÿ›‘ Stop Making Instagram Harder Than It Needs To Be ๐Ÿ’ช
I recently had a coaching call with ( She made ยฃ9.2K last month )
She said to me.
"I feel like I'm doing everything."
She was just like you...I get it...
You're posting.
You're trying new hooks.
You're watching reels about algorithms.
You're changing your bio.
You're second-guessing every caption.
Yet somehow...
The coaches around you seem to be signing clients while you're wondering what magic trick they're using.
So naturally...
You assume you need a better strategy.
A better funnel.
Better editing.
Better content.
That's exactly what most online fitness coaches do.
They keep adding more.
More strategies.
More hacks.
More "secret" growth tactics.
They spend hours trying to sound smart...
Using marketing jargon...
Talking about algorithms...
Trying to prove they know what they're talking about.
Because they think complexity equals expertise.
Here's the problem...
Your ideal client doesn't care how clever you are.
They care whether you understand them.
Most coaches completely forget they're talking to another human.
Instead of speaking to one person...
They start speaking like they're giving a TED Talk.
Or worse...
They start trying to impress other coaches.
The more information you consume...
The more complicated your content becomes.
The more complicated your content becomes...
The fewer people actually understand it.
Clear beats clever.
Every.
Single.
Time.
This is where coaches unknowingly kill their business.
They spend weeks trying to optimise things that don't actually matter.
Meanwhile...
They're posting content that nobody relates to.
Their profile feels confusing.
Their messaging feels scattered.
People land on their page...
Watch one Reel...And leave.
Not because they're a bad coach.
Because the person watching can't instantly think...
"They're talking about me."
The crazy part?
Most people blame Instagram.
When really...
They're just making Instagram far more complicated than it needs to be.
Here's the mindset shift.
Instagram isn't complicated.
Humans aren't complicated.
People buy from people who understand them.
That's why everything we teach starts with one question...
Who are you actually talking to?
Not everyone. One person.
Know exactly how they think.
Know what frustrates them.
Know what they're scared of.
Know what they secretly want.
Then...
Show up every day and help that person.
Nothing more.
Nothing less.
Your content doesn't need to impress people.
It needs to make someone stop scrolling and think...
"Bloody hell... that's me."
Once that happens...
Everything gets easier.
When you simplify everything...
Instagram becomes predictable.
You stop wondering what to post.
You stop chasing trends.
You stop rewriting captions twenty times.
Instead...
You know exactly who you're speaking to.
Exactly what they need to hear.
Exactly what belief needs changing.
That's when followers become conversations.
Conversations become calls.
Calls become clients.
Without spending your entire day glued to Instagram.
One of the biggest breakthroughs Cerys had wasn't discovering some secret marketing strategy.
It was actually doing less.
She stopped trying to sound clever.
She stopped looking like an influencer.
She stopped creating content that impressed other coaches.
She focused on speaking to one person.
She simplified her message.
She trusted the process.
The result?
Her biggest month.
Higher recurring revenue.
More booked calls.
Better close rate.
Less objections.
Nothing magical changed.
She just stopped overcomplicating Instagram and started communicating like a coach instead of a marketer.
And that's the lesson.
The coaches making the most money aren't usually doing more than you.
They're just making it much easier for the right people to understand why they should trust them.
