My 2 Little Ranch Hands Abandoned Me Today 🙃🙂
As grandmas truck pulled away this morning and my two oldest girls waved from the windows...
I stood there like a lost cowboy watching his best horses ride off.
Don't get me wrong... I was practically doing cartwheels inside.
Back to school means more routine for me. More focused work time. No more "Daddy, can you help me catch the chickens?" every five minutes.
My productivity just got a massive boost.
But here's the kicker... Those two were my best ranch hands.
They fed animals without complaining. They helped fix fences. They even mucked stalls better than most adults I know.
Not to mention the 2 best baby sitters in the world are gone and now my wife have to play "pass the baby" with our youngest all day long.
If my wife needs to make an egg deal in the tractor supply parking lot I'm on daddy duty.
If I have a coaching client call, I hand her off to my wife.
The game of musical 3rd child never ends.
