Dream writing

Ok, I feel crazy asking this, but this one is for my fellow songwriters.

I’ve written about 40-50 songs. Some good, some not - as expected. However, the ones I feel are the best are the ones I’ve written in my sleep. I wake up with the entire song in my brain, ready for me to record. I just simply have to learn to play the parts. This accounts for about 6-7 of my songs.

Has this happened to anyone else, or do I need more therapy? 😂 Please tell me I’m not alone.
