⚖️ Stabilize & Control Your Base With These✌🏼Concepts ⚖️
If your hips and pelvis aren’t stable at landing, it doesn’t matter how strong or fast you are—you’ll leak power and lose connection.
Here are two simple ways to train that stability:
1️⃣ Control Your Stride With Your Chest, Not Your LegsMost hitters try to control the stride from the ground up. Instead, keep your chest closed and connected to the middle as you move forward. This helps your upper half lead the stride and stay stacked over your base—so the lower half can move freely without overreaching.
2️⃣ “Spread the Floor Apart” When You LandThis cue locks in your lower half. As you land, imagine trying to tear the ground apart with your feet. This creates tension through the hips and pelvis, helping you anchor the lower half and stabilize the swing. No more leaking energy or floating hips.
