This is a cosy little corner of the internet for anyone who has ever picked up knitting needles full of hope…and quickly found themselves tangled in yarn, confusion, and a few choice words 😅
Oh Knit was created as a space for beginner knitters (and those starting again) who want to learn without pressure, perfection, or overwhelm.A place where it’s completely okay to not know what you’re doing yet… and to figure it out as you go.
My mum taught me to knit when I was young, and while I never truly mastered it, it’s always held a special kind of nostalgia for me.
After losing her almost 18 years ago, I’ve felt the pull to come back to knitting…even though this time, I’m doing it on my own, without mum to fix my mistakes or cast on for me.
So this is me starting again. 💛
