Hi, I’m Andrea—founder of Terra Home Base and creator of The Special Village.
I’m a retired special education teacher, certified dyslexia and reading coach, and a lifelong advocate for neurodivergent children and the families who love them. I’m also a mother, a bereaved aunt, and someone who understands that grief doesn’t always look the way we expect—especially in children.
Inside this space, I bring together my professional experience and lived understanding to support parents navigating big emotions, behavior shifts, and loss. My approach is gentle, practical, and rooted in connection—helping you feel more confident, more grounded, and less alone.
Terra Home Base is the ecosystem. The Special Village is the heart.
