I’m Kelley Bitter, and after more than 25 years as a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I know firsthand how demanding and rewarding our profession can be. Like many of you, I’ve felt the weight of long shifts, the emotional intensity of caring deeply for patients, and the pressure to balance it all—both at work and at home. For years, I saw how burnout, compassion fatigue, and overwhelming stress became all too common among the nurses I worked alongside and cared for. That’s what inspired me to dive even deeper into mental health and learn everything I could about coaching and performance.
Along my journey, I became certified as both a life coach and a mental performance coach, so I could offer the kind of support I wish I’d had earlier in my career. I wanted to create a space where nurses could be seen, understood, and equipped with real solutions for managing the ongoing demands of our work. That’s how the Nurse Serenity Hub came to life—a place where practical strategies and encouragement are always available for nurses who need to reclaim their sense of balance, joy, and self-worth.
I specialize in helping nurses with work-life balance, burnout prevention, and relaxation techniques that can actually fit into our unpredictable schedules. I’m passionate about sharing proven tools—like guided mindfulness practices, boundary-setting exercises, and my “Resilience Reset” workshop, which blends practical cognitive-behavioral skills with simple self-care routines you can use right away. I’ve watched so many fellow nurses rediscover their love for this work, find the energy to keep going, and start living with more ease, and that’s why I do what I do.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, you’re not alone. My mission is to be that trusted resource and listening ear I know every nurse sometimes needs. Through one-on-one coaching or group workshops, I’m here to help you find harmony and fulfillment, both in your career and your personal life. Because you truly deserve serenity too.
