“A wealth of information creates a poverty of attention.”
^^ Came across this quote today by Herbert A. Simon.
Where do you think most of your attention gets spent? And is the return worth it?
Personally I love how we have access to so much information, but it can be hard to focus on one thing without getting distracted. Sometimes it feels like we’re drowning in ideas, planning, organizing, learning, but never actually doing. That’s the trap of shallow work.
Thoughts??
