Or I live in New York State Electric costs have gone up 40% due to a monopoly and some questionable sentences with our meters. Actually beyond with somebody’s meter that we know wasn’t even connected and was still running…
I have stopped counting the days, but I know it’s been over a couple of weeks that we have woken up to negative temperatures. Yesterday was the first time it got above 10°F during the day that’s not including the windchill.
I know there’s many people who are not used to these low temperatures and winter conditions . For those of you down south, check the Internet on what you’re supposed to do regarding for water pipes. Also, for people who lose electricity, please look up exactly what you’re supposed to be doing for heat sources.
I am writing this because our news just gave out this information and we’ve been in a deep freeze for weeks. We have had to tell people who moved up here about 10 years ago what to do. It was not mentioned on the news or any articles on Facebook until this past weekend..
This weekend the Lowes are supposed to be -15° with a windchill that will probably be it feels like temperature of -20°
