Be Bodywise Shilajit Review
Be Bodywise offers a few shilajit options, with their gummies standing out as the most popular. While their shilajit resin is ok in terms of its fulvic acid content, the gummies are really quite disappointing.
And to be completely honest, the resin itself isn’t something I’d recommend either, it's just not as bad, but it’s one of the lower-quality, less palatable resins I've tried. And at this price point and you'd be better off with something like Nootrum which has a much higher purity standard.
I'd generally recommend any of the brands on my breakdown of the best shilajit supplements here and there's quite a few reasons why BeBodywise Shilajit did not make the cut.
Quality of Shilajit and "10:1" Extract Claim
Upon picking up the Be Bodywise shilajit gummies, I noticed a striking similarity to Better Alt’s version. At first, the product seemed promising, but a closer look raised a few concerns, especially around their "10:1" extract claim and the doses of other ingredients.
While ratio extracts can sometimes be effective, the "10:1" label here is misleading. In the case of shilajit, this ratio implies a stronger dose, as if it delivers ten times more fulvic acid. But competitors typically have around 75% fulvic acid, making this claim impractical—since no product could realistically be 750% of its own weight!
Unfortunately, the lack of transparency on fulvic acid content is a big red flag, leaving me doubtful of the product's potency.
Additional Ingredients and Potency
The Be Bodywise gummies come with added ingredients like ashwagandha, ginger, black musli, gokshura, mucuna, ginseng, and akarkara. While these herbs are beneficial in theory, the doses here are too low to deliver any real effects. They seem included more for their appearance on the label than for any actual therapeutic value.
Flavor and Price
One positive note is the tamarind flavor, which is genuinely pleasant. However, at $30, flavor alone doesn’t justify the cost, especially given the questionable effectiveness of the ingredients. You’d be better off spending $10 more on a product like Nootrum, which offers higher-quality shilajit and better ingredient standardization.
Pros and Cons of Be Bodywise Shilajit Gummies
Pros:
  • Pleasant tamarind flavor
  • Contains popular herbal ingredients
Cons:
  • Misleading "10:1" extract claim with no fulvic acid standardization
  • Low doses of added ingredients, reducing their effectiveness
  • Higher price for a lower-quality product
  • Resin quality is below average in both taste and potency
Final Thoughts and Recommendation
For those serious about the benefits of shilajit, Be Bodywise falls short. Nootrum’s shilajit provides a higher-purity extract at a better dose, and it’s specifically designed to retain beneficial micro-compounds that can be compromised in gummy form. Alternatively, if you’re browsing Amazon, Better Alt would be a preferable choice.
