DAF List + Facebook Group for Outreach
The Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) List is now posted in the Nonprofit Tools board in the Classroom. This list includes DAFs I’ve interacted with directly, as well as others I found through emails and public websites. It goes beyond what we discussed in today’s meeting, so feel free to check it out and add any others you’re aware of—the goal is to make it a collaborative, growing resource. Also, I wanted to share a Facebook group for the Military Spouse Professional Networking that I mentioned during the meeting. It could be a great space to post requests for support or volunteers. Thank you!
Chambers of Commerce
Passing on something I've learned and curious if others have found the same success. I joined our local county chamber of commerce a few years ago. I have made so many useful connections. It may be worth paying the membership fee to join your local chamber. Our county has a lower "non-profit" rate of about $180 a year. Tons of opportunities exist to meet key leaders and business owners in the community. Anyone else have thoughts? Membership fee pays for itself in new donors every year.

June Update
Check out the Classroom tab for newly posted courses from previous discussions and Tools, including Rikki’s DAF list! Please take a moment to provide an update in the General Discussion board. What are your goals for the Summer (June, July, and August)? Take a moment to give to each other in the Law of Circulation discussion board. $10 to each and watch it come back to you! I have received $3,000 in new business in the last month. It works. Our next huddle is 12 June (2nd and 4th Thursdays at 3 pm). Thank you for your patience as I fixed the calendar. Have a great Summer! Vince
