What do you think of this idea?

First off, I'm not trying to plug my potential new business, I genuinely want to know people's opinion about this. And this seems the best audience to ask. If it's not OK Brett, please delete it, thanks.

I wanted to ask your opinion on something. I have been thinking about various different business ideas over the past few years, some I've actually tried and some I haven't.

A couple of weeks ago I remembered a business idea I had about 2 years ago due to something that came up in conversation when I was talking to a visa company owner. I was discussing with her how to set up a business in Thailand and that is when I first heard about companies in Thailand needing to be at least 51% Thai owned. I asked her if there is a company that could put me in touch with potential Thai business partners. She started laughing and said no but if there was such a company they would make a fortune. So ding lightbulb moment. 💡

The reason I didn't start the business at that time honestly was because it felt too intimidating. But I just thought a couple of weeks ago why on earth did I not do this? It doesn't even require much financial investment at all since all meetings can be done via zoom now. It's definitely solving a pain point, the potential customers can definitely afford to pay for this service, it saves those entrepreneurs a lot of time and effort. And the icing on the cake is there is no one else out there doing this. I found a couple of companies who do this as part of company formation services, but I literally found 2 so far out of lots of companies I've reached out to. And they were very corporate businesses, whereas as I am a very down to earth approachable person. Still always want to deliver the highest service of course but I think I am someone people would want to work with. If I go ahead with this I'm going to be building up my personal brand on YouTube and then sharing across various social media.

I'm at the point now of do I go for this or not? I know a lot of you in here either live in Thailand or are planning on moving to Thailand. Do you think this is a service people would pay for? Really its a high ticket recruitment service. In my last business my job was basically using the same talents, finding international people with a desired skill set. It's also something I would really love to do. Of course I want to make money, everyone does, but while I'm doing it I want to be something interesting that's going to force me to learn new things and grow as a person.

I think I've answered my own question here lol but I'm aware I may have blinkers on. Therefore, any and all honest and constructive feedback would be most welcome. Many thanks for taking the time to listen. 😀
