Thailand to Introduce New 5 Year Digital Nomad Visa?

Apparently Thailand has introduced a new visa that lets digital nomads work here for up to five years.

It looks like you'll just have to leave the country every 180 days but may be able to stay here for 360 days per year.

If true then this reminds me of the good old days where you could get two 90-day single-entry visas at the same time and use them back to back.
