180 Days Of DTV Expiring Soon. Extend Or Do A Border Run?
My 180-day DTV period expires in 1.5 months. My two options are to do a border run or extend the visa. The extension seems fairly straightforward and I still qualify for everything; however, I am not necessarily thrilled about having to open up my bank statements again to immigration. My other option is to do a border run. By all accounts, this seems to be the simplest option. I was potentially thinking about visiting Siem Reap for a few weeks and then checking out Vietnam before going back to Thailand, probably be outside the country for a month. For anyone who's done a border run, do they ask for bank statements when you re-enter the country as well as employment verification, etc.? Again, it's not a problem. It's something I can easily do. It's just something I would like to avoid if possible because I'm not thrilled about giving my bank details to the government if I don't have to, but I can certainly do that. I just wanted to hear other people's experiences and just kind of see what everyone else does, but I appreciate everyone's time.
