Welcome to our first class of Nigerian pidgin. This particular class will be in English for a broader knowledge. In this class, I'll be introducing the pidgin language, and the understanding that different states in Nigeria have their own pidgin and you can understand them all even if you're not from that state.
One important fundamental of the Nigerian pidgin is the intonation, pronunciation, and the use of non-verbal words (these are gestures made with sound while discussing) in pidgin
In pidgin language, we have the general pidgin and the advance pidgin. The general pidgin is very easy to understand but the advance is quite tricky when you listen to it. What makes it an advance pidgin is the mixture of replace words that have a different meaning in English language, but different in pidgin language
