The mission of NCDS is to cooperate with the Holy Spirit in forming biblically grounded, Christlike, Spirit-filled disciples who understand their identity in Christ, belong faithfully to the church, practice the way of Jesus, discern truth with humility, and participate responsibly in God’s mission of restoration.
The school envisions communities in which new believers are not abandoned after conversion, mature believers are not trapped in perpetual spiritual infancy, and gifted believers are not entrusted with influence before character and responsibility have been formed.
The purpose of discipleship is not merely to produce informed Christians, faithful church members, gifted ministers, or supernatural believers. The purpose of discipleship is to cooperate with the Holy Spirit in the restoration of humanity into the image of Jesus Christ, so that the life, character, wisdom, love, authority, and mission of God may once again be revealed through His people for the renewal of the world.
