This past weekend was a big success for me — not because everything was perfect, but because I kept showing up and taking small steps toward my goals. Sharing a collage below of everything I captured for B-roll and carousel content this week 🎥
A few of my personal goals lately have been to:
- Be a more present + patient mom (not overreact when my kids mess up)
- Stay consistent with my content + creative goals
- Keep moving toward financial stability
This weekend I:
🧡 Took the kids to the Halloween event — paid for the buttons, donated candy, and even scored free game tickets!
🖤 Grabbed costumes from Goodwill (because $40 a pop is just too much 😅)
💰 Did DoorDash, renewed my Stan Store subscription, and even caught up on my storage payment in Austin
🩸 Donated plasma, set a major boundary with my kids’ dad, and I’m honestly proud of myself for it
📚 Took the kids to the library, practiced reading, and got my daughter new PJs + slippers for PJ Day
💻 Submitted all deliverables for a client and have 6 pieces of content ready to post this week 🔥
💡 Built Visions to Reality (VTR) — a new digital product you’ll be able to resell soon for up to $25!
🏋🏽♀️ Made it to the gym once, tackled a phone call I’d been dreading, and kept up with school mornings
🇲🇽 Also — I start Spanish tutoring this week!
Not gonna lie, I had some sodas and cupcakes (thanks Mom 😂), but it’s progress — not perfection.
👉 What this reminded me: your daily actions matter more than your big goals. Small steps compound. You don’t need to have it all figured out — you just need to keep moving, even when it’s messy. So here’s my challenge for you this week ⬇️💭
Drop 3 things you’re doing (or plan to do) to move closer to your goals this week:
- Maybe it’s reviewing your finances or cutting a bad spending habit
- Finally promoting VTR and documenting it
- Getting back on your fitness goals
- Or setting one boundary that protects your peace
