Not All Goals Are Pretty — and That’s Okay.
Sometimes your motivation isn’t about running toward the dream — it’s about running away from what happens if you don’t change.
I just watched a video from Lelia Hormozi and this part hit me hard 👇
She says—sometimes it’s not about “manifesting” your dream life or vision board goals. It’s about realizing that if you keep doing what you’re doing, you’re heading somewhere you don’t want to be.
She gave an example:
“You gained 84 pounds in two years — that’s impressive. If you keep that same pace, in 5 years you’ll be 500 pounds.”
That made me think…
Sometimes we don’t need prettier goals — we need to get honest about the patterns that are already leading us somewhere we don’t want to end up.
If what you’ve been doing has gotten you here (mentally, physically, financially), that means you’ve already proven you can produce results. Now it’s just about flipping those same habits into ones that move you forward instead of hold you back.
🍟 Late-night fast food run → take a night walk instead.
🛋️ Scrolling before bed → write down one thing you’ll improve tomorrow.
It’s not always about chasing a dream — sometimes it’s about refusing to stay stuck where you are.
Go watch the video if you haven’t yet — it’s so good.
