Stroke
A little case study.
I completed an eval on a 56 year old who had a Right MCA branch blocked. Had interventional radiology remove the clot, however, he had a massive stroke after the procedure.
Pt has left side upper extremity weakness
Possible L side neglect
Follows very concrete one step directions, but not consistently. Uses thumb up or down
Morbid obese
Trach
PEG tube
What types of recovery would you expect from the patient?
