You keep watching them. What they’re doing, what they’re not doing, what they said, what they didn’t say. And you’re calling that “reality.”
But it’s not. It’s the past… still playing out.
Every time you check, analyse, overthink… you’re not getting answers. You’re reinforcing the old story.
You see them not texting? You feel rejected. You see them distant? You feel insecure. You see them inconsistent? You start questioning everything. And just like that… you’re back being the old version of you.
This is why nothing changes. Because you keep observing the version of them that belongs to the old you. And every time you react to it… you agree with it. You give it meaning, you give it power, you keep it alive.
You can’t create something new while constantly checking the old.
At some point, you have to decide: “I’m no longer taking cues from the outside.”
Because the outside has no choice but to reflect what’s already assumed inside. Not the other way around.
So today, try this: stop checking, stop analysing, stop looking for proof. Not because you’re ignoring reality… but because you’re choosing a new one.
Become aware of where your attention goes. Because where your attention goes… your identity follows. And where your identity goes… your reality confirms.
You don’t need to watch them to know where this is going.
You decide where it’s going.
