one of the best community experiences i’ve had on Skool happened last week
last Friday i joined a "Community Crawl" organized by simple idea:
- move across communities
- complete small tasks
- have fun
- collect rewards
but what actually happened was more interesting:
people didn’t just join
they interacted
they commented
they replied
they explored
it felt alive
big shout out to Lidia for putting this together - simple on the surface, but very well executed 👏

🧭 my take:
this is why gamification has huge potential in communities
not because people “like games”
but because we like:
👉 clear next steps
👉 small wins
👉 movement
👉 interaction with others
most content gets consumed passively
this created a reason to do something now
and that changes everything

i’ve tested different game-style posts before
and they’ve been one of the more efficient formats in OBB1
(most of you experienced this through our onboarding flow and the 🤪 “Wrong Answers Only!” pinned post)
but this one stood out because it actually moved people - not just engaged them
it’s definitely worth modeling parts of this going forward 👍

🧭 something to think about:
what’s one small “game” you could add to your community
that gets people to take action instead of just scroll?
