🌿 June Challenge – Day 2 / 30
Yesterday you felt the thread of breath.
Today, you follow it somewhere simple: your hands.
Not your hands as yours. Just hands — the same shape that cupped water in a canyon ten thousand years ago, that pulled weeds from a garden, that held a child, that waved goodbye, that built a fire, that wrote a letter, that touched someone's face in the dark.
Your hands have done ordinary things today. Maybe you made tea. Maybe you brushed a crumb off a table. Maybe you just held your phone.
That's enough.
---
Today's invitation:
Pause for thirty seconds. Look at the back of one hand. Then the palm. Turn it over slowly.
Notice: This shape has existed before you.
Now think of one small, unremarkable thing your hands did today. Just one.
Then say quietly:
"These hands are not new. They are old as human. And today, they did something kind. Even if only for me."
---
Today's practice:
One small act done with your hands — not for productivity, but for presence. Wash one dish slowly. Fold one piece of cloth. Touch a leaf. Press your palm flat against a wall and feel it hold you up.
👇 Drop 🌿👐 if you noticed your hands as a thread today — even if you just looked at them once.
